We used Chatterpix on the iPads to make our drawings speak as Gaeilge. Then we made some special effects pumpkins with baking soda, vinegar and food dye.

​Today 1st Class A and B joined together in the halla to have fun moving through our Halloween P.E stations!  We had lots of different activities including 'pin the hat on the witch' and 'roll the orange with your nose'. We had lots of fun mixing with our friends in the other class and we enjoyed seeing eachother's spooky Hallowe'en costumes! Happy Hallowe'en everyone!! 

​This Tuesday 1st Class took a trip to our local library. We really enjoyed reading lots of different books and playing with the games and puzzles that the lovely staff of Kinsale Library had ready for us! 

​Earlier this month, 1st Class A and B enjoyed a nature walk in the apple orchard in Sáile. We took our iPads with us and took photographs of different signs of autumn. The weather was glorious! We had lots of fun searching around for different signs of autumn and we enjoyed learning outside of the classroom!
