​Well done to all the first class pupils who completed wonderful projects about their countries. We all loved listening and learning about the different countries in our class. 

We had such fun learning all about data this week here in 1st class. We used smarties to make pictograms and bar charts. We had to be sure of our fractions too as we had to share our smarties equally in half with our partner before we ate them!! 

Nollaig Shona daoibh ó rang a hAon. ​We have been very busy preparing for Christmas here in first class. We have written our letters to Santa and we also wrote our prayers to Jesus asking him to take care of others this Christmas. We had great fun learning Christmas songs, playing games like ‘musical crackers’ and we even did a Christmas treasure hunt! We were so good this year that we also got a special visit from Santa. Can you believe we got a selfie with him too? How cool! Merry Christmas everyone!
