Pencil-Shaving Art.
Check out our Pencil Shaving Art. We began by making a collection of pencil shavings - which meant some very sharp pencils! We then created simple pencil sketches and used the pencil shavings to add colour, pattern and shape! The results are very interesting. Can you spot a cheerleader with some interesting pom-poms? Or perhaps a tasty-looking pineapple?
Cooking With Granny.
We recently entered a poetry competition, hosted by Ballymaloe Cookery School. We had to write a poem on the theme of 'Cooking with Granny'. We had lots of fun brainstorming ideas on this topic. We hope you enjoy reading some our entries below! Don’t Show this poem to Granny. If you ate my Granny’s tart, It would surely stop your heart, If you ate my Granny’s scones, They would surely wreck your bones, If you ate my Granny’s pie You would definitely die So here is advice from me to you, Instead just go to Ballymalloe. By Ethan Cooking with Granny. There once was a Granny called Bane. Yes that was really her name, She made cookies and pies, and filled them with eyes, and said ‘Don’t blame me for the pain’. By Barry Cooking with Granny. There once was a lovely young Nan, Who then tried to cook a flan, She used milk and sugar that she stole from a beggar who chased her right off to Japan. By Arran. |
