On Wednesday the 29th of January, 4th Class B welcomed their wonderful grandparents into their classroom as part of Catholic School's Week. The children interviewed each other's grandparents to find out what life was like long ago and to appreciate the very important role their grandparents play in their lives. The children recited the poem Grandparents to mark the occasion and sang Trasna na dTonnta. On leaving the classroom for a reception in the halla, the children gave their grandparents a special Grandparent's Day card.
