As part of our application for a Water flag, we held a day of action in school. Our Green Schools committee went to each of our classes, doing water experiments, reading recycling stories, doing iPad quizes (which they made themselves!), challenges, litter picking, planting sunflowers, vegetables and herbs, and to top it all off we had a talk from a local horticulture expert who showed us how to plant and taught us all about sustainability.
