Brian Gallagher is an experienced prose writer and has had fourteen novels published – four of them for adults and ten novels of Irish historical fiction for children.
His latest work is a new children’s historical novel, WINDS OF CHANGE, set during the Land War, and published by O’Brien Press in 2021.
Brian Gallagher visited our school on Thursday October 20th. Several of the children have read his books. 5th and 6th Class pupils heard all about how he became an author and what steps you need to follow when writing a book. He also read a chapter from his latest children’s book ‘The Winds of Change’.
