 Congratulations to 6th Class pupil, Abbey Lalor, who earned a place on the Cork GAA Primary Game team! The Cork footballers took on Limerick in the Munster Senior Football Championship on Sunday last, April 07th in Páirc Uí Caoimh @ 2pm. Abbey and her teammates played at half-time. We are very proud of Abbey as she is the first Naomh Eltin pupil to earn this honour. Corcaigh Abú! Our chess team had a fantastic day competing against other schools from across West Cork today in Beda hall in Ballineen. All our team members competed with great respect and fought till the very end in each of their matches showing sportsmanship throughout. The team finished third place overall and they can be very proud of their achievement. Well done! Cad faoi sin? What about that? The 4th class students had great fun listening to stories, poems and rhymes in the fantastic new library in Kinsale. A huge thanks to Paddy O'Brien (our storyteller), JJ Hurley from Kinsale Culture and Heritage Society and all the staff from the library. A great time was had by all celebrating ár teanga iontach!  Congratulations to this talented 6th class pupil!, Sophie Scanlon. Who along with her company Hamilton Acro and Dance, has qualified to represent Ireland at the Dance World Cup 2024. This event will take place in June in Prague, Czech Republic. An amazing achievement and we are so proud of you, Sophie.
