Well done to our wonderful 3rd & 4th class hurling and camogie players who did us proud in their blitz on Monday last. In sweltering heat, they gave their all against strong opposition from Little Island NS and Glenville NS. Huge thanks to our parent volunteers who ferried our players to and from the venue and also for the delicious and much need ice pops at the end of the day. We are very grateful.
We are so proud of the 52 6th Class students who graduated from Scoil Naomh Eltin this week. The school hall was packed to the rafters with the students' family members to mark their Graduation Mass and Ceremony on Tuesday 21st June. We are very grateful to everyone within the Scoil Naomh Eltin community for making the event so rewarding; Fr Young, students, parents, staff, Parent's Association and Board of Management. The 6th class teachers had the final word with the video below of memories created by the students over the past eight years at Scoil Naomh Eltin . . . And a big 'thank you' to the wonderful cake provided by the Parent Association!
Scoil Naomh Eltin students represented their school on Friday 3rd June at MTU for the annual Cork City Sports event. There was great excitement, as it was the first time in three years that the event went ahead. All the students who partook should be so proud of themselves as they were already winners in our school. Our training sessions stood well to our athletes as we had silverware in both singles and races. One student even made the county final! Well done to all. Maith sibh go léir! |
