It was an ordinary school day for Ciarán Murphy, whose special interest in Space and Science had him dreaming of one day working for NASA. "Ciarán I have a special visitor for you" said his teacher. Ciarán was amazed when none other than Dan Tani the NASA astronaut walked into the room. Ciarán couldn't believe his luck. Mr Tani stayed with Ciarán for two hours talking all things space and giving Ciarán details of his SIX trips to the international space station!.
Mr. Tani was a complete gentleman. He encouraged Ciarán to keep up the hard work in school and also gave Ciarán many gifts including official badges from his NASA jacket. Ciarán said it was the best day of his life!!
