Scoil Naomh Eltin's new student

6/18/2020

Last week something very unusual happened at our school. A fairy door popped up, out of nowhere!
Luckily, Zuzanna who will be starting school in Scoil Naomh Eltin soon, has figured out the mystery of the fairy door. Thank you to her big brother Rafal in 5th Class for helping her to write all about it.

                                          ELVIN FROM SCOIL NAOMH ELTIN

One day Elvin decided to move his house next to Scoil Naomh Eltin. He had realised that someone had to guard the school while it was empty for so long. The children couldn't be there due to Covid 19 and by now it was the Summer holidays. Elvin decided to keep an eye at school each day and night. He did a proper long check at night time, flying around the school, inside and out, through the empty classrooms, into the art cupboards, sliding down the staircases and he even checked out the staffroom!
Each day he gives his small report to Mrs. O'Hanrahan. So far, the school has been safe and sound.
It hasn't taken him long to decide, but he thinks he will stay by Scoil Naomh Eltin forever, as he already transformed the white concrete column by the gate/entrance to school into an elevator to the fairies underground world. Elvin can easily get to the underground fairy world through this door, which leads to an elevator that transports him underground where he plays with his fairy friends and meets with his fairy family.
He was overheard one day saying,'If Scoil Naomh Eltin is this good without the children then I can't wait until September when everyone will be back'.
                                                                   THE END.
