Every Wednesday we have gymnastics class with Colm. We are really enjoying it! We are learning the tuck position, pike position and how to do roll overs! Thank you Colm Junior Infants are really enjoying yoga classes with Mary Hayes each Tuesday. We have been learning about different ways of breathing. Our tummies get bigger and smaller as we breathe in and out. Yoga is very relaxing. Thank you Mary! Junior Infants decided to make the most of the beautiful sunshine and take a visit to Kinsale Playground. Have a look at our photos to see how much fun we had! HSE Vaccination Team will be in Scoil Naomh Eltin for Junior Infant vaccinations on May 2nd.
Thank you Junior Infants are very proud of their Student Council Reps!  On Thursday, 2nd of March we celebrated World Book Day. We all dressed up as book characters, brought our favourite book to school. We also visited our school library and read lots of stories. RSA Street Smart visited Scoil Naomh Eltin this week. We learned all about road safety. There are three rules for crossing the road, you must 'Stop, Look and Listen'. Also, there are three rules for the car 'Belt, Booster and Back Seat'. We practised these rules in the Street Smart Village and we were so good, that we all got a Safety Licence with our name and photo! What a fun week! |
