We, the Student Council represent our fellow classmates. Think of us as class presidents. We are here to:
-Communicate and discuss the following at Student Council Meetings:
*The views of each class as a whole
*Positive aspects/areas for improvement relating to school life
*Manage suggestion boxes.

We represent the student body of Scoil Naomh Eltin at all times -demonstrating our core values of fairness, hard work, honesty, creativity, friendship and respect for difference.

There are now suggestion boxes in each classroom. Please add to these if you have any suggestions/issues that you would like to see addressed. We will discuss all reasonable issues at our meetings, and bring key points to our principal.
Following a discussion at our most recent meeting and also some feedback from pupils, we would like to look into fundraising for some new balls and skipping ropes for the senior yard. More details to follow!

Scoil Naomh Eltin's current Student Council members were elected in March 2019. One boy and one girl were selected through a democratic process by their fellow classmates. They are:

1st Class: Patryk Hunia, Hannah Jones
2nd Class: Ross O' Toole, Hayleigh Kenny.
3rd Class: Enno Hadley, Caoimhe Browne.
4th Class: Faiz Zakri, Heather Crowley
5th Class: Corey Taylor, Katie-Rose Broderick
6th Class: Róisín O' Riordan, Adrian Droppa.

The Student Council hold regular meetings where issues relating to general school life are discussed. Council members then report back to their classmates and also bring issues and ideas to our principal Mrs O' Hanrahan.
