In 2021 Scoil Naomh Eltin received a grant to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.

This funding was used to make sure that all children in the school have access to an iPad and a digital education. iPads were updated and apps were bought for the key areas to support numeracy, problem solving and computational thinking. STEAM sets were hired and bought as necessary to encourage participation in STEAM subjects. VEX, Beebots and other robotics and coding materials were purchased for pupils at all levels. In addition, Scoil Naomh Elitn now has improved broadband connectivity which will help our pupils with online learning, project work and ICT skill development.
