The Scoil Naomh Eltin debating team had an impressive start to the year with their first debate. They tackled the emotive motion "Homework should be a thing of the past." We proposed the motion. It was a challenging match, but our talented debaters showcased their skills and emerged victorious.
The team received well-deserved recognition for their extensive research, particularly on the sustainable development goals. The adjudicator also noticed the outstanding teamwork displayed by our students. They supported each other and collaboratively crafted compelling, rock-solid arguments. We're very proud of their dedication and success, and we can't wait to see more great debates in the future!
