Third Class took advantage of the fine weather this week to try some kite flying. The pupils had great fun watching the kites take to the sky and testing how well they flew.
As part of the activity, the children learned about wind direction and how the wind helps a kite stay in the air. While some kites flew better than others, everyone enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to learn outdoors.
