Congratulations to the Kinsale-Clontead Community Games teams who competed in chess competitions at under 11, 13 and 16 level in the past few months. The teams consisted of many students from Scoil Naomh Eltin as well as students from Kinsale Community School, Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile and Belgooly NS.
Kinsale-Clontead were crowned Cork Community Games champions at all three age levels before competing in the Munster tournament where the under 11 and under 16 teams won silver and the under 13 team won gold. In August the under 13 team competed in the National finals against the other provincial winners and won gold.
