On Thursday 16th April Scoil Naomh Eltin had 2 teams invited to compete at the Comórtas Fichille in Newcestown NS. There were 10 schools from across West Cork with teams present on the day and the standard of chess was very impressive from all the students entered. Both our teams performed excellently and all our students represented the school fantastically well. One of our teams came first place overall. This is a great achievement for all involved.
