Happy Mother's Day from Rang 2B

Did somebody say Pancakes?!

We enjoyed some delicious pancakes on Shrove Tuesday 2023!

Board Games.

We had great fun checking out some board games recently in Mr O' Brien's 4th Class. We were very impressed that 4th Class MADE these games themselves!

Maths Week 2022 - Tangrams & Dominoes!

Gingerbread Houses.

We have been busy in 2nd B this week getting to work on our Gingerbread houses, made from recycled cardboard boxes and lots of bright and sparkly bits and pieces that we spent a few weeks gathering.

Symmetrical Butterflies.

We really enjoyed creating these symmetrical butterlies and we love looking at them in our classroom! It was a messy art lesson that used lots of paint but we think you will agree it was worth it! Here is how we created them:
-First we halved a sheet of card.
-Next we squirted blobs and squirls of paint on one side only. We used whatever and as many colours as we wanted!
-Then we folded the sheet over and smoothed it down and voila - a symmetrical butterfly appeared!
-Finally we cut out the butterfly shape and added some eyes, bodies and antennae!

Painting Our Self-Portraits.

Let's Get Active.

We love Lego!

Developing our teamwork skills, our co-ordination and spatial skills, persistence, patience and our problem-solving skills - Lego - what's not to love? Most of all - it's FUN!!

A September stroll on Compass Hill!

How lucky are we to have a beautiful walk like Compass Hill on our doorstep!
