Cork City Sports  May 30th 2024

There was fierce excitement on Thursday 30th of May. Scoil Naomh Eltin's top athletes  travelled to M.T.U. to paticipate in the centenary Cork City Sports Races. We had four students who competed in the new category of races for children with adiitional needs. We were so proud of these children who were given this wonderful opportunity. They relished the opportunity and brought home some silverware. We had 16 girls  and 18 boys representing Scoil Naomh Eltin in 60m races, 80 metre races , 100 metre races and relay races. Every child  ran so well and we are so proud of them all. Some of our children were placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their category. Some children made it to the County Quarter Final and even the County  Final!
​Every child enjoyed this special day , we look forward to visiting all the classrooms  this week to share their experiences of the day and to show their trophies for their trojan efforts!
