Colourful Day in aid of Pieta House

A History to be Proud of!

A big thank you to Barry Maloney for recently visiting us in Senior Infants and teaching us all about the history of Kinsale and the beautiful art work make by the older students in the school. We especially loved learning all about the Kinsale Giant,

Our trip to the Post Box

Senior Infants have been very busy learning all about how to write a letter. We wrote a Christmas letter to our parents and took a trip to the post box to post it.

Fundraiser for St. Vincent de Paul - Christmas Jumper Day!

Food Dudes

This week in school we had lots of fun tasting different fruit and vegetables for Food Dudes week. The boys and girls in Senior Infants were super for tasting everything, We learned how important it is to eat fruit and vegetables every day. Each day we got to taste a new fruit and vegetable - we tried apples, bananas, peppers, cucumber, blueberries, oranges, carrots and tomatoes.

Science Week

Senior Infants thoroughly enjoyed being scientists for the week. We had lots of fun doing a variety of experiments - dancing raisins, rainbow skittles, exploring static electricity by using balloons and we also made giant gummy bears. We were delighted to get invited upstairs to see more experiments carried out by the senior classes.

Happy Halloween!

Maths Week

This week was Maths week in school. We had great fun making patterns, sorting and creating silhouettes of objects and animals using our shapes.

Aistear - All about School

Senior Infants had a great time learning all about school during Aistear time. Take a look at the photos below and see what we got up to!
