The Farm
Over the past few weeks, the children in Senior Infants have been learning all about the farm in Aistear. They have been very busy constructing cows, building farms, learning all about farm animals and their babies and they even planted their very own vegetables.
On Tuesday our very own local resident farmer Mr. O’Donovan came to visit the children in senior infants. They were all so excited and they had many questioned prepared for his arrival. Mr. O’Donovan spoke to the children all about his daily routine on his dairy farm. He showed the children videos and photos of the farm animals and they discussed everything from the journey of milk to the setting of crops. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit. It’s clear to say we have many budding farmers here in Senior Infants!

Creating our own Musical Instruments!
We have been exploring musical instruments in SESE. Senior Infants B made fantastic homemade instruments. We are having lots of fun using them in class.

A visit to OHK Cafe
In Senior Infants we have been learning all about the cafe in Aistear. We were so lucky that we got a chance to go to OHK cafe where we were given hot chocolate and cake! A big thank you to Sarah and all the staff in OHK. We really enjoyed it!
