For Maths Week 2019, Second Class engaged in some challenging games and activities that really stretched our every day knowledge of Mathematics. We played a simple game called “Guess the question”, where the answer was given to us (example: 6), and we had to come up with all the possible questions that could be the answer for. We had to use our knowledge of all strands in the curriculum. Some questions the pupils thought of were: 1. How many sides has a hexagon? 2. What is a quarter of 24? 3. How many faces has a cube? We also enjoyed a Maths trail outside using our Maths Eyes to find what we were looking for!
