The whole school had great fun filming our own music video for Pharrell William's hit song 'Happy'. We hope you enjoy watching our dance moves and listening to our beautiful voices! We really hope it makes you as happy as it made us!

Please be advised that the school will be closing at 12.45 on Tuesday 1st April to facilitate a staff meeting. Many thanks.
Take a sneak peek inside the Junior Infant classroom with our video showing how the students learn and how much fun they have while learning in Scoil Naomh Eltin! The video shows the students developing their reading skills using the Jolly Phonics reading scheme, learning their Gaeilge and talking about the things they love most about primary school. Congratulations to Lauren Balaur, Vanesa Kozubova, Amelia Rabiega, Kyra Jeavons, Ilona Perret and Abbey Rice for winning prizes in the St. Patrick's Art Competition.
Scoil Naomh Eltin was well represented in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Thank you to all our students and staff. The sounds of "Happy" were heard throughout the town as we danced our way through the streets. If you have any photos of our school in the parade please email them to the school on [email protected].
Thank you to the parents of students in 1st and 2nd class for assisting in the Maritime Parade performance. Boys and Girls you sang beautifully. We were so proud.
Dermot our site foreman informs me today that the blockwork for the first floor is 30% complete. The first floor columns are almost fully installed and window opes are being formed. It is good to see that 95% of the topsoil has been removed and the site layout is becoming more apparent. Also the road frontage has been cleared and the ditch removed allowing for a clear view of the new school building. Dermot has invited us to don hats and boots again next week to walk the land. We will take updated photos for you to see. Our project is moving along well!
"Every child is an artist.." This was once said by the famous Spanish painter, Pablo Picasso. Judging by the recent creations of the artists in Senior Infants, we certainly think he is right! They had lots of fun creating their very own 'cubist' portraits. Cubism means combining lots of simple geometric shapes. Congratulations to our students who made their First Confession last night. Our thanks to Fr. Young, Fr. O'Mahony and Fr. Kelleher. Well done to our students who read so clearly from the altar. Our thanks to parents and Ms. Murphy for all the preparation.
