The students of Scoil Naomh Eltin were dressed to scare in support of Trick or Treat for Temple Street Children's Hospital on Friday 24th October. We had ghastly ghosts, venomous vampires, poaching pirates, dangerous dragons, wicked witches and even a pin from Google Maps just to mention a few! Well done to everyone for making such a huge effort.

Dear Parents,
We at Scoil Naomh Eltin encourage active, healthy living by supporting physical activity. We are delighted to announce ‘Seolta’, a new after school Hip-Hop dance programme created especially for our students. Dance is known to play an important role in developing the physical wellbeing and creativity of young people. Weekly classes will embody elements of fun, creativity and performance. The children will be enabled to increase flexibility and improve balance and co-ordination, as well as cardiovascular health and wellbeing. The cost of this class will be minimal and will be based on numbers (to be advised). Your child will be offered one class per week. If you are interested in availing of this class, please fill in the slip and return it to Miss Kelleher by Friday November the 7th. Le gach dea ghuí, Ms Kelleher. Dear parents,
Homework club will commence in our new school after mid-term break, starting on Tuesday 4th November and will run for four weeks each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.05pm to 4.05pm.The cost of four weeks homework club is E24.00 per pupil. Children are given ten minutes to have a snack beforehand, therefore school lunches should be adjusted to allow for this. Homework club is an opportunity for your child to complete their homework in a quiet environment. It is important to note that the adults present are there in a supervisory capacity and parents are asked to check homework is completed satisfactorily at home. It is most important to note that if your child signs up for homework club we will expect him/her attend. If, for any reason, your child is unable to attend, please inform the teacher in charge for that period via note/telephone call. Thank you all most sincerely for your continued support. Warmest Regards, Mrs Neary. Ms O'Connor, Ms McCarthy and Ms Harney 30th of September
