Cork Deaf Association Fundraiser
A big thank you to all who donated generously to our fundraiser for Cork Deaf Association. Staff and students alike made great efforts to wear orange/Halloween dress-up, as you can see from the attached photos. We've so far managed to raise over €500 (and counting!).
Scoil Naomh Eltin is closed from Monday 28th of October to Friday 1st of November. School will re-open on Monday 4th of November.
Teachers were very lucky today as children opened their Halloween themed cafe. All week long, children worked hard to perfect their recipes and decorations for the lauch of this spooky cafe! Children selected Halloween songs such as 'Ghostbusters' and "Thriller' to really set the atmosphere. Halloween treats such as Ghost cupcakes, jelly eyes, rice krispie monsters and witch hats were served to teachers throughout the day. We even had a scary monster hiding in our bean bag! Well done to all the children involved for all your hard work, we are SO proud of you!!!!
Thank you to Rhino Print

Intel Mini Scientists
Students from 4th, 5th and 6th Class took part in the Intel Mini Scientist Competition for the first time this year. There were projects that covered all sorts of things from 'Where does food dye come from?' to 'An oxygen machine' and we even had students who made a hovercraft! There was clearly a huge amount of work put into every one of the projects on show. Maith sibh!
