Mary O’ Donovan, a representative from SVP, Kinsale, was presented with a cheque for €970 by Terry McCarthy and Avril O’ Driscoll, the proceeds of which was raised in Scoil Naomh Eltins’ Christmas Fundraiser. Míle buíochas to all who donated.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul helps thousands of people all across the country who are struggling to provide food, heat and clothing for themselves and their families. Scoil Naomh Eltin held a ‘Christmas Jumper/Dress Up Day’ on Friday, December 10th, to help SVP to provide their services to those who need it. 100% of the money raised goes to SVP. The annual competition is part of the Irish League of Credit Unions’ (ILCU) commitment to supporting the artistic development of people of all ages and abilities in communities throughout Ireland. This year's theme was 'imagination' and there were fantastic entries! Huge congratulations to those who won in their categories and well done to everybody who took part. Winners at the local level will go on to a regional level, and regional winners will progress to the national awards ceremony in February 2022.  |
