On Friday the 26th of June, Junior Infants to Second Class went on their School Tour to Rumley's Farm. It was a beautiful sunny day. We all had a great time! We got a drive on a tractor, saw a cow being milked, petted small animals, played in the playground and even had a go on the Zip Wire. Everyone really enjoyed themselves!!! High Street Books will have a book sale in the school on Wednesday, 24th June from 12.30 to 3.30. All class textbooks will be available to purchase on the day.
Laura's Schoolwear will be selling the school uniform in the school on Wednesday, 24th June between 12.30 and 3.30. We look forward to seeing you all there. On Friday June 19th, the pupils of 5th&6th Classes headed off to Ballyhass Lakes Activity Centre, just outside Mallow. It was an early start, but what a glorious day it was! We were accompanied by our class teachers Miss McCarthy and Mrs McCarthy, plus Mrs Kenny, Mr O' Leary and Mrs Wright. When we arrived in Ballyhass, we were split into three groups. We then set off on our way. Each group took part in four activities - Zip-Lining, Archery, Water Sports, 'Leap of Faith' and Abseiling. We had great fun, in spectacular surroundings. The teachers even joined in some of the activities! The weather was certainly on our side - it stayed dry and sunny all day. A fantastic, unforgettable day was had by all, and we will certainly be back to visit Ballyhass Lakes!
