Your parents/guardians will help you to read this message.
I hope that you are well and that you relaxed this weekend. Your teachers have been very busy preparing work for you.
This morning you will have received your workbank for this week on Aladdin and also in your class section on our school website. . Please try to do a little each day. If you have trouble getting the workbank please let me know. You can send me an email on [email protected]. If others in your house are using the computer or if your computer is broken please do not worry. Instead take time to read, play games with numbers and get exercise in you garden. Most importantly help out at home.
I want to let you know also that RTE are starting RTE School Online tomorrow(Go to rte.ie and chose Home School Hub). This will run from 11am to 12pm. During this hour teachers will present three short class segments aimed at 1st, 2nd class, 3rd class, 4th class, 5th and 6th class. You will be able to find worksheets on rte.ie/learn.
Later on in the day, RTE Home School Extra will air as a catch-up programme at 4.15pm where kids can take over.
RTE will showcase video messages and content by primary school kids across the country in an opportunity for them to reconnect.
Each day I speak with your teachers who are missing you. They tell me to let you know that you are not to be worried about your work but just to do your best. We will have great fun catching up.
Please remind your parent/guardian that the most important this is to make sure that you are all happy, safe and well.
Have a good week and look after each other
I look forward to seeing you soon
