Active Schools Flag

Scoil Naomh Eltin is delighted to be an Active School. The Active School Flag is awarded to schools that:

• Adhere to the DES guidelines regarding PE provision for all students
  
• Teach a broad and balanced PE curriculum
  
• Inform and invite the whole school cummunity to participate in the ASF process
  
• Self evaluate current provision in terms of PE, physical activity and community links
  
• Plan and implement inprovements in each of the aforementioned areas
  
• Organise an Active Schools Week as part of the school events calendar
  

During the school week, the students participate in a wide variety of activities including movement breaks, hurling, basketball, dance and circuits to help increase their fitness level. This is our video showing how much the students enjoy these activities. We really hope you enjoy it!
