Fit4Class is Athletics Ireland’s teacher-led programme that introduces junior infants to fourth class to athletics in a fun, engaging and non-competitive environment. Following it’s national success, a succession programme is being developed for senior classes (4th-6th).
Following the introduction of Athletics Coaching in the school in the past two years students at SNE have now been selected to participate in piloting this new Fit4Class programme for senior classes. This pilot will see schools introduce the Fit4Class content into their P.E. delivery for athletics with 5th class pupils.
SNE is also fortunate to have an athletics coach who will run the programme throughout the entire school during the school year.
