June 2019
Dear Parent/Guardian
As our school year 2018/2019 comes to a close let us reflect on the year gone by.
It’s been a great year! We have had our ups and downs but together we’ve learned much and shared experiences that will remain with us in the years to come.
The strength of our community and wholehearted passion to make our school a wonderful place of learning for our students makes Scoil Naomh Eltin a special place.
I wish to give heartfelt thanks to our parents who have contributed in ways large, small and unimaginable. This is most appreciated. Thank you for getting your children to school each day and for helping in the learning process. The partnership between home and school is so important.
I would like to thank most sincerely our dedicated and hardworking Parent Association.
I wish to thank our hard working and caring teachers and special needs assistants who have made a huge difference to our students . Your commitment is outstanding and our students are the beneficiaries. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for them and for knowing that education is about joy, wonder and fostering curiosity, along with the development of social skills so needed to succeed. For these, and a million other things, we are truly grateful.
Thank you to our office staff for your eternal patience. We remember Anne Marie (RIP) in a special way.
Thanks to our caretaker and our cleaning staff who work tirelessly to maintain our school.
Finally, thanks to our school board of management who support us in every way.
To those of you who are leaving us for new places we wish you all the best and you will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
To close, I take this opportunity to congratulate all the students of Scoil Naomh Eltin! I wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable summer. Please be sure to take time as family to talk, play and pray together.
I look forward to seeing you all on August 29th, 2019.
